When’s the last time you got to stand in front of and photograph one of the world’s few progressing glaciers?

Join professional photographer Daniel J. Cox and his wife Tanya as they venture into a mountainous region of Argentina and Chile – Patagonia! Explore the magnificent granite peaks, majestic glaciers and lakes of Los Glacieras National Park in Argentina – declared “World Heritage” by UNESCO in 1981. We will get up close and personal with impressive glaciers, including Fitz Roy and also Perito Moreno Glacier – one of the few glaciers in the world that is still progressing!

After Los Glacieras we venture into Chile’s Torres Del Paine National Park – a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO – where we will have the opportunity to photograph glaciated lakes and fauna such as guanacos, lesser rheas, black-necked swans, geese, flamings, Magellanic woodpeckers, and also peregrine falcons and condors on the mountain slopes. Our trip will also take us to the El Porvenir region of Chile where we will cross the strait of Magellan to visit the King Penguin Colony to photograph these captivating animals.

Of course, we will also have opportunities to capture the local culture – from tango dancers to the gauchos and their sheep on the Patagonian grassland ranches – we welcome you to join us on this photographic excursion of a lifetime!
